Wheel wells

Hi guys, it's time to start cleaning up the wheel wells. What is the best thing to use to treat/clean up the wells? Any advice would be appreciated.

A comfortable seat, a bucket of soapy water and some cleaning rags to remove dust, dirt and mud.
Just like cleaning your car. Make sure the brace stabilizing the shelflike wing skin is secure.
Now you can check the landing gear in detail....check previous posts. Inspect the rear spar to retract
strut fitting for cracks. Clean and regrease the acme screw/trunion nut.
You get the picture....

Generally these areas are painted. You can match the color of your wing or a light color that shows the dirt and grease. If you have bare wood, for some reason, I would seal first with epoxy varnish.
