There is a weird rectangular aluminum plate attached to the longerons inside the fuselage,
ahead of the tailwheel.
It is wearing it's way through the fabric .. well ok maybe somebody dragged the fuse through a ditch.. I don't know.
anyway.. I have to patch the fabric, and I want the damn thing out of there.
I'm guessing maybe it was VOR antenna mount ( down low like SoCal Docs) ??
Not shown in the parts manual. guess I need to study the old log books.
Any ideas what else this thing could be ? I will have to cut it out , not otherwise reachable .
