I put the ACA plate on the back of the oil cooler, and metal tape on the front. I seldom get to 150 degrees oil temp no matter what the outside temp. (0-235) and, yes the gauge has been checked.
hi, thanks for the reply... i should have mentioned i don't have a oil cooler on this plane. i've heard of one that blocks the exit more so than the intake over the fins. does anyone use that type?
