Work !

You'll love them! My airplane has Clevelands with Cessna 172 master cylinders (337 field approval done during the 1986-88 restoration) and with those master cylinders, they are not anemic. In fact, they'll pop the tailwheel off the taxiway with just a little effort.

I put Clevelands on a previous Fairchild 24 and never looked back at expander tube brakes. They're not authentic, but they're what the engineers would have used had disc brakes been available back in the day. As a good friend said - 'if you want to keep your authentic brakes, don't be surprised when your airplane very authentically runs off the side of the runway or turns turtle and ends up on its back.' Excellent advice.

I'm glad to see you were back at the controls of your Bellanca.

Best Wishes,
