ACA Paint on metal and fiberglass

Superflite System II and Superflite System VI are essentially the same thing. We had to change our System II chemicals in the late '90s to meet EPA standards. The only difference between the two now (besides the environmental "friendliness") is the mixing ratios of the chemicals.

The Superflite urethane system is made SPECIFICALLY FOR AIRCRAFT - therefore it's more flexible and not prone to cracking as automotive urethanes are.

The Superflite System VI is still roughly the same weight as any other system - the difference comes down to 3 or 4 pounds. Now, our topcoat is a high solid - so you'll need very little to cover your aircraft - three gallons will cover a Citabria or a Decathalon.

If any of you ever have any questions about the Superflite system, please feel free to call our toll-free number - 800-323-0611.
