Ron, interesting idea! Nowadays they make adhesives that will bond just about any material to any other material. I can see the possibility that the seals could be so securely bonded that they would need to be scraped out. Certainly worth further consideration! It would be great to identify some alternate wiper sealing material. There have been comments on the forum about finding this material at a hydraulic shop or tractor supply store, but I have not yet had time to track down these options. When you buy the seals from AAC they are split with a tapered joint which has both advantages and disadvantages. I would prefer to have a solid round part - it would be easy to make a mold for this and compression mold these parts out of silicone or some similar material. More stuff to think about...
