New View from the Cockpit

I personally don't buy into the detonation issues they reported, especially with 100LL. In formula 1 we ran super tight tolerances, forged pistons, 32° of mag timing on stock carb jets. Of course our RPMs were astronomical, but still.

On sort of a related subject, I got a notice that they are trying to get a good representation of Citabrias at Oshkosh this year for the 50th anniversary of the Citabria. They especially want 1970 - prior. I sure would like to go, but that would be a LONG flight from north Florida at 95mph. I might have long range tanks, but not that long of a range bladder.

Dale, I'll ferry it for you ;-p Low and slow! I'll meet up with my friends bringing a Portfield and Champ up to Oshgosh....

Jonathan, thanks for the offer - I think! :? If my bird goes to Oshkosh, I'm goin' with it. 8)

Based on where you and I are located. I would pretty much fly right over you if I did go.
