Description
I am selling the airframe of this aircraft. I purchased it for the engine, prop and some instruments. There will be no engine and prop.
Below is the information that I received from the previous owner. It has been tied down under a tee shade at Deer Valley Arizona KDVT for several years. It is currently in annual until May 26.
I am hoping to find someone that could it has a project. Currently at KCHD, Chandler AZ

Logs and Records…
- We have full logs back to 1954, plus CAA annual Airworthiness Inspection Forms back to 1947 (which I believe is the way it was done back then).
- Cleveland wheels and brakes were installed in 1989 under STC SA294GI.
Recent Maintenance and repairs, last three years…
- Tail wheel tire replaced and brakes serviced 01/2025
- Main gear rebuild / seal replacement completed 02/2025
- Primer repaired 07/2023
- Left and right brake hoses replaced 07/2023
- Left and right main wheel bearings and races replaced 07/2023
- Rudder and left rudder stop were replaced after on-ground wind damage 06/2022
General Condition, Equipment, Issues and Squawks…
- Wood wings are in excellent condition.
- Fabric is in serviceable condition. Paint is not great, but nice from a distance.
- Radios work, VFR only of course. King 125 Nav/Com, King 196 Transceiver.
- Marker Beacon receiver is installed (I don’t know why).
- There is no tail position light.
- Narco AT 150 TSO Transponder is good.
- Has electric landing gear conversion, and crank is still there as a backup.
- Interior is very good.
- Has 20 gallon auxiliary gas tank (fuel gauge for aux tank is inoperative).
- Bruce’s Cabin/Wing Root Cover is included.
